Description:

• Temperatures between 19–21°C and high relative humidity are favourable conditions for the occurrence of this disease.

Damage Symptoms:

• Irregular, brown, necrotic spots with concentric rings appear on leaves.
• These spots coalesce, forming larger necrotic patches on leaves.
• Leaves fall prematurely.
• Infected fruits turn yellow and drop prematurely.

Preventive Measures:

• Remove and destroy infected plant debris.

Control Measures:

• Spray mancozeb at 0.2%.
