Description:

  • Severe infestations weaken the plant and stunt its growth.
  • Aphids also act as vectors for viral diseases.

Preventive Measures:

  • Install sticky traps in the field.
  • Place reflective mulches in the field.

Control Measures:

  • Apply neem oil (3%).
  • Apply imidacloprid (0.4 ml/l) or dimethoate (2 ml/l).
