Description:

Damage Symptoms:

• Irregular brown spots with grey centres and dark-coloured margins appear on leaves.
• Diseased leaves develop chlorotic halos, eventually turning yellow.
• Premature shedding of leaves.
• Defoliation may affect photosynthesis, leading to poor growth and fruit formation.

Preventive Measures:

• Remove and destroy infected plant parts.

Control Measures:

• Spray copper oxychloride at 0.25% or carbendazim at 0.1%.
