  • Fruit quality and yield are reduced.

Preventive Measures:

  • Proper spacing should be adopted to improve airflow.
  • Avoid excessive irrigation to prevent the buildup of humidity around plants.

Control Measures:

  • Spray carbendazim 1 g/l at the first appearance of the dieback.
  • Apply copper oxychloride at 2.5 g/l to control the spread of the disease.
