  • Fruits turn soft and rot, making them unmarketable.
  • Dieback of branches from the tips to backward.
  • Stem lesions may also occur.
  • In severe cases, this disease can lead to the death of the plants.

Preventive Measures:

  • Avoid watering above the leaf canopy.

Control Measures:

  • Apply carbendazim at 1 g/l.
  • Apply copper oxychloride at 2.5 g/l.
