Description:

Damage Symptoms:
• The leaf surface is covered with a white downy growth.
• The leaves turn yellow, followed by drying, which occurs from the leaf tip to the base.
• Rotting of the bulb occurs.
Preventive Measures:
• Excessive application of nitrogen should be avoided.
Control Measures:
• Three sprayings with Mancozeb 0.2%.
