| Sowing Season | As per the Regional Practices and Timings |
| Field Preparation | The land is prepared by giving 5–6 ploughing. Compost or FYM @ 150–200 q/ha should be spread and mixed well in the soil at least 15–20 days before sowing. |
| Seed Treatment / Rate / Timing / Chemical | Seeds are treated with Thiram 2g per Kg of seeds. |
| Spacing | 77 x 60 cm |
| Seed Rate | 200g – 250g/ha |
| Transplanting | Transplanting should be done 25–30 days after sowing. |
